Cala Murada, Mallorca, Spain Welcome to this page about Cala Murada, in Spain. Cala Murada is a small village (with a population of around 625) between Porto Colom and Porto Cristo on the east side of the island of Mallorca. It is located within the region of Manacor. The village is generally quiet, and still fairly unknown to tourists although new resorts are beginning to appear within the area. The area has some bars and restaurants, plus some basic services such as a supermarket. The Cala Murada beach is a shingle beach, but the Cala Domingos beach (around 10 minute walk from Cala Murada) is a golden sand beach with shallow water.
Porto Colom and Porto Cristo are only a short drive away and are larger, busier areas with a little more going on. Local attractions in the area include the Vall D'or Golf Course which is around a 10 minute drive from Cala Murada. For sightseeing the Caves of Drach are one of the most famous tourist attractions in the area. Boat tours can be organised to take you into the caves. When you need to unwind the shopping area of Cala D'or is the ideal place, equipped with many designer outlets and plenty of restaurants too. Unfortunately we are still awaiting pictures for Cala Murada.
