Downtown Orlando offers little in the way of tourist attractions, but
there are small areas which have been designed to gather visitors
This old railway station and museum (Church Street Station) is located in
the Downtown Orlando area
Old meets new in this picture from the historic Church Street Station with
the modern commercial and financial buildings of Downtown Orlando behind
Orlando is most famous for its theme and amusement parks. Sea World is one
of the major parks and comprises of various shows and events throughout the
day, such as the world famous 'Shamu Show'
The Shamu Show features
numerous killer whales which are highly trained by their keepers
Killer whales at Sea World are trained to perform stunts and shows for the
huge crowds that attend, just be careful as to whether you decide to sit in
the splash zone!
During 2006, rock band Foreigner played an exclusive concert at Sea World,
and similar events take place on an ad-hoc basis
Another famous park is 'Universal Studios' which is the original home of the
film company Universal and includes props, rides and attractions themed to
films made by the company.
